When you obtain a lead from your business opportunities, you should contact that lead from your business in a timely fashion, instantly would be even better, if not, then minutes, hours is what i recommend. Mistake number 2 salespeople make in obtaining a lead is, no enthusiasm when talking over the phone or even in person. We all should smile as we speak to potential customers.
Yawning, sneezing, and coughing over the phone when talking to a lead is another way to lose a sale or signup. If you must sneeze,etc, you should say excuse me and don't do it directly into the receiver. Putting your lead on hold when you answer the phone is another bad mistake salespeople make. I can tell you its just annoying when it happens to me. To me the salesperson not taking his business or career very serious when they do this.
